Join The Children's Museum of Wilmington, Dimock, Weinberg & Cherry, and NourishNC at the MLK Center to learn why nutrition is so important for dental health! Little learners will discover the importance of dental health and be given the supplies to do so! Participate in a virtual lesson from Colgate, join in science experiments and fun activities that include a plaque attack experiment, making elephant toothpaste, so much more! This is a community children's event brought to you by the Delta Dental Foundation. A free oral care kit will be provided for each child. Everyone is welcome at no cost!

Únase junto al Museo de los Niños de Wilmington, Dimock, Weinberg & Cherry y NourishNC en el Centro recreativo de MLK para aprender por qué la nutrición es tan importante para la salud dental! Los pequeños aprendices descubrirán la importancia de la salud dental y se les proporcionaran los instrumentos necesarios para ello. Lo pequeños participaran en un experimento científico y en actividades divertidas, incluyendo un experimento sobre el ataque de placa dental, tendrán la oportunidad de hacer una pasta de dental de elefante, y ¡muchas cosas más!

Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures will attend the event virtually to present a lesson on dental health!

Painting with a toothbrush: kids will get to use a toothbrush to paint!

Creating a Tooth Fairy bag: kids will get to decorate their very own Tooth Fairy bag to hold their baby teeth!

A fun toothbrushing relay game to learn about germs and how to clean them out!

Human vs. animal teeth, children will get to examine the differences between human teeth and animal teeth.

Kids will explore how other cultures recognize/celebrate/view their own Tooth Fairy traditions!

Fun science experiments such as Plaque Attack, we will simulate how sugar allows plaque to form, and Elephant Toothpaste, a cool chemical reaction to have a conversation about the importance of toothpaste.

An awesome photo booth with props to take cute family photos!
